A very warm welcome to a brand new website called 'Everything Manx'. This site was launched on 1 October 2006, and celebrates the very best of Manx life and Manx products.

On this site we have collected together in the 'online shop' a unique range of Manx foods. For example Manx cheeses, loaghtan lamb, game, confectionery, jams, pickles, honeys and chocolates. Plus other specialities such as Manx books, arts, crafts, watercolours, photographs and much much more. You will be able to browse in the on-line shop where you can buy and pay safely through Paypal.

By launching this website we would like to share with you a glimpse of one of Britain's best kept secrets - the Isle of Man. Our small and beautiful island lies in the middle of the Irish Sea, has a temperate climate and is world famous for TT road racing. Celtic and Viking heritage make it a place of both myth and legend.

Parts of the website are dedicated to different aspects of Manx life on the Island such as employment, housing, health, education, taxation and recreation. So whether you are a visitor to the Island, a new resident, a local, or a Manx national living abroad, hopefully there is something for everyone.

And for those of you who have never visited this 'tranquil haven' there is a film show and some Manx recipes, to give you a flavour of the breathtaking scenery and culture from around our shores.
